Job Responsibilities for our Manufacturing Cell Leader:

  • Lead a team to meet daily production goals.
  • Assign tasks and track performance, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency.
  • Hold daily briefings and communicate across shifts and departments.
  • Ensure compliance with SOPs, quality standards, and lean practices.
  • Work with quality, maintenance, and engineering to fix production issues.
  • Track and report key metrics like OEE, scrap, downtime, and output.
  • Support team training and conduct performance reviews.
  • Drive continuous improvement efforts like 5S, Kaizen, and SMED.
  • Enforce Health & Safety policies and risk assessments.
  • Keep accurate records of production, quality, and team performance.

Skills/experience required:

  • IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent Health & Safety qualification.
  • Previous experience in Manufacturing assembly sector.
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a manufacturing or engineering discipline.
