Operations Manager - OTE €72k 

The Opportunity

The Operations Manager role is a pivotal and highly rewarding leadership position within our company. You’ll oversee our Dublin and Lisburn operations, covering the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland. You'll be leading a dynamic team of field-based service engineers, warehouse operatives, and administrative staff, inspiring them to deliver exceptional service, drive productivity, and contribute to revenue growth. The role:

  • Recruit, lead, develop and motivate your team of field-based Service and Sales Technicians, Warehouse and Customer Service / Administrators.
  • Lead Safetykleen’s high level of Safety Culture, chairing Monthly HSE meetings and exemplifying the day to day high levels of effective proactive management to safety and environmental impacts within operations.
  • Effective and regular communication, direction, coaching and training, feedback and monthly 121’s offering continuous guidance and support to achieve operational excellence.
  • Comprehensively manage the retention and contract renewal of our existing customer base, ensuring customers are serviced on a regular basis, service levels met and exceed expectation, customer requirements are understood and met, and all business opportunities are explored. 
  • Maximise business efficiency through effective route, fleet and resource planning and allocation.
  • Ensuring highest levels of Health and Safety management thorough risk assessments, investigations, and reporting.
  • Managing operational costs and success through effective P&L management.

Key Success of an Operations Manager:

  • Road Operator Transport Licence holder - Advantageous 
  • Waste Management experience – WAMITAB qualification preferable.
  • IOSH Managing Safely certification or similar with experience in ISO 45001.
  • Leadership – lead teams on an inclusive journey with respect, courage, and action.
